PatchWorm

I have been hearing a lot about PatchWorm lately. Lurker visited Zonk and they took loads of lead out of his gun and also wanted an excuse to buy a kit. Now I would consider my barrels to be quite clean to begin with an have established a way to make them clean. So when I got the kit I started with cleaning cricket which had about 150 shots through it from last cleaning.

I will say it works and the idea of pulling a felt plug with patches is great. Also it follows barrel groves where the other systems don’t or not as good.

I cleaned my 25 using JB paste and don’t really know how clean barrel was to begin with

I will try it next time it’s time for a cleaning. At the time I got it I had 150 shots through cricket and Vulcan was clean. But I ran JB bore paste with felt and that comes out dirty regardless

It would be great to see what the patch worm does after you are done cleaning with your regular method.
Will the patch worm remove any extra lead that the regular patch did not catch?

THAT will be the true measure of performance.
