Q:

PCP full auto BB gun ?

I wonder why they do not make a PCP gun like this that will shoot with air from a 4500 psi tank instead of Co2???? I think it would be fun to shoot,,,,
Refurbished Umarex Steel Force CO2 BB Gun.
Us guys with compressors would be buying BBs by the LB.
Might need to up the power to about 800 FPS , Be pretty easy with a PCP gun.

I similiarly bulk fed one of mine too. It is very finicky on bulk air until ya can work the bugs out. It was difficult to get the Co2 cartridge chamber to seal completely. I managed with teflon tape. I also found that I needed to remove the pin piercing restriction at the top of the chamber. It just unscrews. Bulk Co2 works the best but can be problematic replenishing the volume of the chamber fast enough. You have to run a large diameter whip or tubing to allow as much gas through as quickly as possible. HPA is problematic too as you have to carefully regulate the pressure to within a very small window of pressure. 750-800psi is about your optimum target pressure. Otherwise you get valve lock or chamber dump.
I also used some K&S hobby tubing and extended the BB resevoir down past the mag floor plate and made my own spring that I wound myself from music wire. I would fill the tube through the bottom, drop the follower down the tube and carefully start stuffing the pre compressed spring onto a rod/guide and then attempt to stuff this into the tube…. Very clumsey and tedious affair. When everything worked I think i succefully shot a few 80shot strings all the way through but it certainly wasnt too dependable or portable affair.
All said and done, i really think that bulk feed detracts and goes against what the beauty of this product really is all about and can be appreciated for…
It is a very realistic actual firing facsimile of one of the rarer of Uzi firearms, it is a real firing actual shoulder stocked Mini Uzi submachinegun. That replicates the real thing in just about every detail, fit, form and function….. Their are only two distinquishing things that seperates it apart from the actual shooting experience. The lack of brass cartridge casings being spit up into the air and into the collar of your shirt…(yup I know, i am a lefty and I shoot the mini carbine but same as mini pistol just longer barrel) and the other is the much reduced report. If they put a faux suppressor on the BB gun version then it would be dead on exact! Start adding a hose and bottle defeats the purpose, especially since the mag cant shoot all the gas in one cartridge. One cartridge of air equals two mags of bbs. Might as well make a 50 rnd cartridge and have a half doz loaded at the ready. However you are also at the mercy of the seals and valve to hold a precharged mag full of gas…. It is a very cool gun except the mags. For the price and heft of s mag , ya think theyd get it right!

Just changed mine over to bulk feed. Have to agree way more shots needed and yikes 40 bucks for 25 more shots what a racket lol. Shoot I haven’t even bought bbs yet.

Ha ha ha ! I have two of those fully auto uzi’s !
I got myself into a wreck at Doug Nobles shop! I was trying to be all sneaky and show em off . Went to shoot a string thru his chrony and accidently blasted the LED light source! BB’s richocetted all over his garage and towards his lathe. Damn Doug was certainly a good sport about that one….. Which reminds me, I gotta buy him some LED’s!!!
Yeah those uzis are cool and very realistic. Just wish the mags werent so expensive and the seals inside the mags could be purchased. They really need 50rd mags to matchup with the gas usage. One cartridge =50rds…. Also wish it was more powerful. Suprised with the accuracy for what it is… Mine have held up very well with hard use and not too much wear except for the mags both failing and keeping the gun from shooting.

Bought my first full auto co2 BB sub machine gun. KWC Uzi just could not resist.

I really loved the video shared by GKU. Modifying the pellet can incur a lot of money. Moreover it could become a killing machine. :geekn: Airsoft BB guns have high accuracy, and even amateurs can use them. That’s why I prefer them. I don’t have real gun at house but owing BB gun gives me a feeling of completeness. :biggrinn: I don’t want to enhance the capacity of my pellet after watching the video.

Your correct they are a BB gun but not just a BB gun but their a awesome shooting one, with all the mods you can really rip some stuff up. You can still get Sergey’s SB2 board from Parellax on the bb.bbboy.net he gets them directly from Sergey. Your right though no more imported into the U.S. I’ve heard some say their trying to get them from Canada. I saw one advertised AA classifieds last week for $700 might have don’t know if it sold or was a scam. :4:

How difficult is it to obtain a Drozd these day? Arent they no longer avail. due to Obama’s embargo against certain Soviet Russian industries , to protest the Soviet presence in the US recognized autonomous region of the Ukraine?
What about that Sergey Upgrade Board for the Blackbird? That very difficult to find too?

I gotta a broken down FA modified Umerex Steel Storm on bulk Co2, that has been rebuilt over and over…..
I also own two of the Cybergun FA Uzi’s. Both with malfinctioned/worn seals in the mags. I bulk air’d one of the uzi mags but cant run anything over 700-800 psi without valve lock.

I have heard several times that the Steel Storm is actually more accurate than the vastly superior Drozd Blackbird?!?
I would have to see for myself.
I have always wanted a Drozd Blackbird with all the goodies but always had a hard time to justify the expense for something that I already know from experience is mainly just a novelty that eventually wears off….. Knowing now that the opprotunity may have been limited I am somewhat regretful. I have tried to rationalize liquidation of something else in my herd to make for a Blackbird but still have difficulty when I have to consider that it is only after all just a BBgun

You can buy the parts an install them yourself or there’s a couple guys on the bb board that’ll do it for a price pretty reasonable 😀

How, and how do I go about building this Blackbird?? Do I have to make the parts for it or can I just buy the parts and install then on a stock blackbird???
I need more information .

Yes Sir,

I have a couple of the fully modded HPA converted blackbirds with 24″ barrels.

They rock bb’s at 900 fps and from 200 to 2000 shots per minute.

Any burst from 1 to 10 and full auto to boot.

Devastating power for a BB gun for sure.

Cuts plywood, 2×4’s and is a blast to shoot for sure.

A bit pricey with all the mods, but puts a smile on your face every time. :biggrinn: :biggrinn: :biggrinn:

The air ordinance SMG 22 is not bad either, when converted to HPA, just a pain to load the belts.

Eun Jins make a big impact with the air ord and flawless performance from the belt feed system.

Yes it is a co2 but you can get a adapter an run it off of a hpa tank that’s regulated to around 1100 psi some of the guys on the bb forum are testing running them up to 1500 psi, I’m using a Grilla tank for mine right, doing some mods putting a sb2 board in it shooting up to 2000 rpm up grade the hopper motor and batteries so I can get max use out of sergeys sb2 board. :smilen:

GKU that’s just a crazy BB gun, LOL.
Bow, The black bird is a Co2 gun? Did I miss something can I convert it to a PCP gun with my tanks and compressor?
Mike

I have a Drozd Blackbird that’ll shoot full auto on hpa at around 600 to 700 fps with a longer barrel you can get upwards of 900 it’s a blast to shoot and there’s all kinds of mods you can build it up with. 😈

   eating eggs can give you gas
