Pellet after it was shot through Edgun LW barrel <photos&
I fired into a 5 gallon bucket of water. The head did get denting a little from the impact, so just ignore the deformation.
We know that my rifle is accurate. So, perhaps these photos can be used for others who may be having accuracy issues to compare. I’d also like to see what a pellet looks like after being shot through an Edgun “new” barrel (the ones specially made for Ed) – mine is the “old” LW barrel.
It’s an easy enough “experiment”. Fill a 5 gallon bucket with water – shoot into it – recover pellet. My rifle was shooting 33fpe – so that is all I can speak for re: the safety of your bucket (I’m talking to you .25 guys).

Here’s a look from the top down. As expected, the rifling “scars” are barely visible on the perimeter of the pellet head.

Yep, I think so in both cases… More power, ugh ugh ugh….
