Pellet Choices
I have a .22 caliber Talon SS and have read with interest the various discussions suggesting a trial of several different pellets before deciding on what is truly the “best pellet” for your particular air rifle. I suppose “best pellet” may be defined variously, but for me this would be “most accurate”. All of my shooting is in the backyard so the distances aren’t more than about 50 yards. Most of them are under 25 yds. There are more pellets available in .22 caliber than I can reasonable try. I wonder if I might get some recommendations from you guys about which pellets to try. Thank you for your thoughts on this.

I have a Talon SS .22 with the 12 ” barrell and shoot mostly in my backyard out to generally 40 yards and less . My rifle has the standard Spin-Loc
tank which fills to 3000 psi , basic Talon except I have Tony’s 9 ” ldc which really makes my shooting dirt quiet . I have shot 6 different size pellets
and the two that seem to do the best for me are the H&N Sport Crow Magnum 18.21 gr. and the EUN JIN 28.5 gr. I also keep my power wheel set
at # 10 level and get so many shots per fill that I don’t even count them . I hope my imput helps you out .
