Pellet did not exit barrel
I shot a 26 grain pellet after a cleanly shot 35.8 grain.
The pellet went 3 inches down the barrel and stopped.
I pushed the pellet out and re-shot with no problems, still at 2850 psi.
the breech was tight to the tophat.
What could have caused this ?

So how did u get them pellets out?
Actually it all started with only one pellet, which I thouight maybe I forgot to put a pellet in then I shot another and then tried the clearing technique and put ion a third.
The furthest down the barrel the first pellet was was 3 inches.
All accidental.
I think the gun even sounded weak. Odd, very odd. Thanks for the input.
Yeah I’d have to agree don’t shot more then one pellet but hay when u clog up the barrel and can’t get the pellets out i want first dibs. LOL good luck

Did the second pellet hit the first pellet?
Maybe you should stop shooting more than one pellet at a time.
I tried to push it out with another pellet, but that didn’t work, as I thought I forgot to put a pellet in.
Why go through the trouble of pushing it out?
Just re-cock the rifle without loading a pellet and fire…

If your running a low power wheel number it will occasionally do a weak shot, my Talon tank did it sometimes and so did the Condor tanks…
If the tophat was tight, then could it have been trash around the hammer which resulted in too low of a velocity to open the valve?
Or the heavier pellet was able to create a valve dwell at the higher pressure and have enough velocity to shoot where as the lighter pellet had valve lock at 2850psi?
