Pellet pouch
Where can I buy the pellet holder that fits on to tank for my condor ?
I guess it will fit on to any gun butt stock. ?

Sorry but they sucked (past tense if that grammatical fact made it through your membrane) – I don’t plan on buying another just in case he fixed the issue and will happily tell others of my experience.
The fact that you purchased the one made for .22 pellets, to use with .22 pellets does not indicate an intellect problem. But I have told of my experience with the pellet holder more than once, yet I keep seeing the same folks moan about how the pellets fell out.
Geee… I wonder why they fall out? Could it be that the foam isn’t thick enough. Hell, it even makes sense to get a caliber under your usage intention. It’s just foam, it’ll stretch.
Funny how he offers every model in three pad thicknesses. Wonder why he’d ever do something like that.

Just as you, I am giving my honest experience with the product. I had no problems with the .22 caliber model with .425″ thickness pad, using pellets to the size of .25 Kodiak. Again, .25 Eun Jin are too long.
Now, for those that wish to purchase a Phillips Pellet Holder rather than make your own… please make sure you purchase the .425″ pad. (I do not know the thickness of pad that PA hands out). It may also be wise to purchase a bore size below your caliber. Following these rules, I have had no problems with losing pellets.

So because I ordered one for .22 pellets.. tried to put .22 pellets in it… and it didn’t work I have some kind of intellect problem?

I keep telling people this, but I think some brains are coated in a toxic mucus barrier prohibiting intellect absorbtion.

Go directly to the Phillips website that makes them and tell him you need one for .22 LR bullets. The foam is more than 1/2″ thick. They work FINE and will hold even .22 Eun Jin just fine. .25 Eun Jin on the other hand are a little long and can and will fall out of brushed on something.
Downside is they are a little thick and therefore tough to get to conform to the complete roundness and circumference of the tank.
I liked my Phillips holder until I stored my rifle over the winter and the foam just isn’t the same… Pellets fall out now and the spring in the foam is gone… 😥 It was great for the first six months and I only went through a half dozen fills of the holder, not sure what happened but the magic is gone! 😆
Plumbing insulation wrap works well too… 😉

And to, the topic: Yep, those phillips ones are what I’m using. “ones?” yaa, they do fall apart. Maybe- Use them when actually going to hunt. When at the range just use the F’n tin the pellets came in. Take off the pellet holder and safe place it. I found lengths and kinds of projectiles (pellet\bullet) need to be put in nose or tail first for best hold, and retrieval of the bullet. But, not so simple as to have brush swipe more than half of’m to disapear in the forest floor (whatever). They come with an user choice of scraping it clean (after it gets bad wear) so you can attach other items to the already plastic w\velcro deals..
I have a long narow 20 holder (now 16 holder) with an old on I cleaned to use over & over for scope notes, etc…. With a rangefinder I mounted to the right of the scope eyepiece. Find the yds, see the scope note, eye in the scope …

IIRC, the sheet I got with mine said they come in three different thicknesses. Mine is the midrange thickness, and a Predator pretty much buries itself in it right to the end of the skirt. Maybe you got the thin one?
I don’t mean to be Phillip’s chief huckster here, but so far I can say it’s worth the 10 bux. It looks kinda bitchin’ as well. 😆
I got mine some time ago, one thickness. Must have had feedback and changed the design.

Yeah, I was going to suggest the leather punch suggestion. I used the one here in the shop to put more holes in my holder. Which brings up the second thing.
If Buying one of these from a supplier, order the next size down from what you need. If you have a .22, order the .177, .25, order the .22. I have found that they will stay in a heck of a lot better this way. Otherwise, they are WAY too loose to hold the pellets in the field.
Coozy–NOW thats Cool! I think I’ll call them GTBS’ Coozy- Kool’s from now on. They have got to be better than the Store bought holders! 😀

OK, I just tried GTBJ’s coozy idea and it works great. I used a leather punch – looks kinda like pliers with different size punches on a wheel. Works great, nice clean holes and very fast. My phillips just got retired.
GTBJ – That looks great! I’ve been holding off on the Phillips order based on
what other have said about pellet loss and quality (both items I cannot
personally speak to). However, I WILL be picking up a beer Cozy today and
giving the “BTBJ Method” a go.
P.S. I also like the idea of burn in not drill in) that shoud produce cleaner
holder with much less opportunity for rip.

here is what I have going, it works great as a pellet holder as well as a reference as to were the cheek to bottle placement should be. ti is just a beer cozy with .190 (? can’t remember for sure) holes drilled in to it, next time I will burn them in to keep it cleaner.
I’m with Buzzcat on this. With the pellet holder on the front right of my bottle, I can reload without un-shouldering my gun. It’s not quite as convenient as cocking one of my repeaters, but it holds alot more pellets than a magazine does. Predators are to long to put in nose first, but they fit fine skirt first; with the added benefit of being able to select one by feel. In fact, I just talked myself into ordering another one.

The foam on those Philips ones isn’t thick enough and the pellets just fall out. I give mine away.

FWIW, PA has a few different models for sale, one is specifically for AF guns. That’s the one I ordered and I was sent the .325 thickness (midsize). A Kodiak sinks fully into this thickness, a Pred sticks out a little by the skirt, but not by much. I’d imagine that smaller pellets like Exacts and CPs would sink in so far that you’d need a tool or a stick to get ’em out. You’ll probably need the thinner foam if the smaller pellets are your main shooters.
We’ll see how long it lasts. Worse case scenario, if the foam eventually comes apart I’ll just peel it from the holder’s frame and replace with a piece of Koozy.
