Doller i would feel under gunned with a .458 in that circumstance !! 🙂

The Henry Yellow Boy in .22 mag has a retail cost of $495.00, plus shipping.

The Henry rifles are all American made, and of the highest quality. You can get them up to .44 mag, .45 Long Colt, and 30-30 caliber.

I have considered getting the .45 Long Colt, as it can be loaded to higher fps/fpe than the .44 magnum. I didn’t realize that, but the case is longer than the .44 case. The .45 Long Colt is good for large North American game up to 100 to 150 yards. Again, I didn’t realize a pistol cartridge was capable of that, but with a long barrel and the right load, these babies can stop just about anything on four wheels. They have a pic of a guy that dropped a full grown American buffalo at 75 yards with the .44 magnum.

If you visit their website, they have soem interesting pics and info on their products. A lever gun isn’t for everyone, but these aren’t your great grandfather’s Yellow Boy!

I orderred a special scope mount for it already, will shoot it tomarrow, hopefully, my eyes are not very good past 35 yards if that.

You got a Deal on that gun.
A 22 magnum will kill anything on the north American continent.

as long as you are at point black range with the muzzle touching the skull. don’t think i would want to take on a brown bear while crawling through the alders on the Ak. peninsula( or even a moose in the same terrain). hell, i felt under gunned with a .338 win mag when the visibility dropped to 5 feet. that will be a fun gun at a great price for what a .22 mag is suitable for.

Yeah, I wouldn’t want to take on a Lesser Spotter Crack Addict with one, that’s for sure.

It is intended for small and medium game, I found a really good bullet, 33 grn. Remington v max boatail, everyone on the net are raving how good they are. I shot the gun today to check function and no problem, also at close range (17 yrds.) off hand, shot a 5 shot group in a 1in. target. When I get the scope I should be able to get an inch at 100 yards.

I love anything .22 Mag. It’s very underrated, especially by those who have never shot anything with it!

You are going to have a lot of fun with that rifle. 🙂

I like it! 😎

Ive got an old 94/22mag Winchester levergun, and its a tackdriver damn thing outshoots most of my bolt rimfires.

Well, I’m no authority on those but I’d be damn happy to have that gun for $275!

I’ll give you $280 plus postage… 🙂

Well done.
