Please advice on Condor loosing power
Hello all, I am in Mexico and am new in this interesting Forum. I recently bought a Condor and power was great at about 2900 PSI, however, after about 200 shots at full power, the gun does not shoot properly (less power) until 2800, then 2600 and so on and now 2000 psi is the max I canfill the tank, otrerwise the hammer hit does not open the valve. I tried cleaning, etc. with no result and ordered a new tank with valve. The power came back like new, again great powe even at 3000 PSI, but short after, I got the same problem also with the new tank. I ended up with 2 tanks none working well.
I would highly appreciate any advice on how to correct this problem including if upgrads are required where to oder them . I live in Mexico City and shoot the rifle at about 12000 feet above sea level if that may be part of the problem. The local supplier (el diabolo) does not provide any advice on how to fix neither offer any alternative parts like hammers, etc. so I would need to order from USA.

I have installed a 35% lower pressure valve spring in the tank and a 50% higher pressure hammer spring replacing the original. Initial result looks best at no. 8 in dial. The .22 pellet goes trhough 2 pices of 1″ pine wood at 2700 PSI. Power is back, but I do not know if this is going to have consequences on the componnents. The top valve cap (the silver cilinder that is on top of the valve) is set to max open. I just dont fil these are very ortodox fixes. I would appreciate your comments and recommendations.
THANK YOU FOR THE RECOMMENDATION. I HAVE LUBED THE ENTIRE THING. NO MODIFICATIONS YET. I GO LEVEL 13 LOOKING FOR MAX POWER. WHEN I DECREASE TO 10-8 THE GUN FIRES AT EVEN LOWER POWER. IN DESPER I HAVE ASKED A LOCAL SPRING MANUFACTURER TO PRODUCE A 30% LOWER RESISTANT SPRING FOR THE VALVE AND A 50% HIGHER POWER SPRING FOR THE HAMMER SO I CAN TEST. I JUT GOT THE PARTS FOR TESTING.

Tell us a little more about your Condor. What setting is the Power Wheel? Is there any modifications to the gun? etc.
First what you might want to do is apply a little bit of silicon where the orings on the breech slide on the barrel. If it is too rough or dry it could slow down the velocity of your gun.

What are you filling your tanks from? Is it possible you got small bits of some thing in your tanks. May want to take a tank apart and see since they were both fine at first and then went bad.
