Please help a newbie!
hi guys from a first time poster in the uk. I was hoping somebody could tell me how much it would cost to convert both my talon bottle valves to the new condor valves and where to get the parts from, i already have the 24″ barrel and hammer. Would airforce sell these parts and/or post to the uk?
Would i be right in thinking if i changed to the condor valve i could have the freedom to wind the tophat right in and keep it below the uk 12fpe limit which would eliminate the need to pay for the o ring mod. Would i then be able to fill my buddy bottle directly with co2 with the tophat turned out? also when i apply for my fac i could fill with air and wouldn’t need to buy anything else? Im thinking of cost more than anything as i have unlimited amounts of co2. I personaly think the co2 adapter and paintball tank are unsightly and realy let down the guns look. thanks

Someone could ship the Valves from the US to you, but the question is why would you want a Condor Valve that is designed solely for power and then turn it down to 12fpe and less? The UK valve is a much, much better bet as it will be far more consistent and gets hundreds of shots as is. With the heavier hammer and 24″ barrel, along with heavyweight pellets such as the 21 Grain Kodiaks you will be well above the 12fpe limit as is.
My advice would be to stick with what you have until your FAC comes through and then get the Condor Valve if you still want the power. Alternatively, just get the C02 Adaptor (which is not the same as the Condor Valve) and go from there.

Thanks for the good advice teflontron. If i did manage to change my talon valves to condor valves, i wouldnt require the ‘o’ ring mod as the condor valve already has it. The cheapest i have been quoted is £45+p&p for the mod on both valves. On one of the bottles the derlin valve seal, tophat and stem are missing and on the one i’m using at the minute a strong blast of air escapes past the valve stem with every shot. So to get the o ring mods and the parts it would cost around £100 and when my FAC comes through i will be looking for the condor parts anyway! I will be appplying for my FAC within the next 4/5 months when i buy my own place. At the minute i live at my mum and dads pub and i dont think that will do me any favours regarding firearms in the same building as a load of drunk soccer fans!
