Q:

Please help with this question. Screw fell out of gun

I had a TINY set screw fall out from my trigger area today. I took the stock off and it appears to go right behind the trigger itself. I really cant figure out what it’s purpose is? Please help me with this. Thanks. Bill

Got it. Thanks so much. Bill

It’s to limit the forward travel of the trigger blade.

Some owners just remove it to increase the forward position of the trigger blade location, big hand …. longer finger reach.

I tried placing a small very thin brass tubing on it to reduce the first stage pull length a bit on my 22 cal.
If KG would place this screw in the back of the trigger block facing forwards at an angle it could become a pull length adjustment screw.
I’m not willing to do this mod yet, don’t think I would need/use it often if I did…. set it once and forget it kind of thing.
