POI shift at zoom =( need help and advice
Hi guys,
I got my tss not too long ago and today i had some time to finally shoot good number of pellets and play with scope.
I only have 25 yard backyard so distance is limited.
It performed great with JSBs and Kodiaks. I was shooting at 8x zoom.
and when I adjusted to x16 my POI shifted left !!!
I adjusted windage…. went back to x8 and it started going right !!!
What is going on?
I have Leapers 4-16×50 mildot scope on accushot one piece high rails.
Is my scope bad? Anyway to fix it? or its just cheap and thats what it does. It kind of defeats the purpose of the zoom if it will switch POI each time.
Here is a pic. 5 shots at each target at x8 perfect, switch to x16 and they all went perfectly to the left. LOL.

Had a tasco do that. took a while to figure out. me and a friend shooting. he preferred high mag, i like to shoot low mag. I’d shoot and hit everything and he couldn’t hit shit. We’re both pretty good shots. Turned out Id shoot 4x and each time he shot he’d turn it up to 10x. got him to shot at 4x and he started hittin stuff. Bad Scope. Drove us nuts before we figured it out.
It was fun though…..he’d miss, i’d hit, he’d miss, i’d hit 😈 😈 😉

That is where I got mine. The exact scope and I will never use less of a scope again on an air rifle.
I held out for years buying budget scopes and it only made me realize how penny foolish I had been. It is far more enjoyable with a good scope and that is what it is all about.

Adam, is it 1 inch mounts? If it is then my Accushot 1inch high rails will work. Does it come with Sun Shades of any kind?

DAMN it LOL. I was hoping I would get lucky, but i didnt.
I dont have tons of money to buy super cool scope. Can you guy recommend good scope with at least 4-12 zoom range and the one that works Awesome. =)

It is your scope. That stuff will drive you crazy. Some will do it some dont.
POS! It is a known fact that cheap scopes don’t hold POI through the zoom range. It kinda sounds like you got a bad one though. Return it and buy bushy legend.

Bushnell Legend 5-15×40 is ordered. Will have to call Pyramyd Air and get RMA for the defective Leapers and send it back.
