Q:

poor groups

i was wondering if you guys had any ideas. i have a condor 24″ .22 shooting cp’s 900fps, kodiak 800fps but for some reason i just cant keep it on target. i will shoot it one weekend and the next the poi will change. and i always have to adjust the scope. the scope is a 3200 bushnell that was on a kodiak but the poi changed on it so i put it on my condor and it did well untill now. the barrel was cleaned several times this last session but no advail. i am shooting 45 yards, i will have a group 2 inches with flyers. but i am use to .75 with cp’s. my only thought is the scope because i always seem to have to adjust it. i have a scope on my r1 i am about to swap out, but am looking for anything i might be missing. i am shooting kodiaks, cp mags, jsb 16 and ej’s and nothing seems to work.

Do like Joe said Eliminate the scope with another one I will be willing to bet you will back on track something seems to me to be wrong with the optics let us know what you find! 😆

i will try the scope, i think the other one i have is a swift airgun scope. yes i have a crony and everything is good with the string. and no shroud i can make all the noise i want. it is weird that the scope would show problems a year after i took it off the kodiak but who knows. just an expensive scope to have go bad. but haveing a scope on a kodiak is like hitting the scope with a hammer.

thanks for the input i will let you know later this week how it went

Kodiaks like to break scopes.

That’s what I’m thinking. Probably a broken scope. Try another one out and see if it gets any better. 🙂

You need to start with that scope. I would try another scope and use the process of elimination.

Is it shrouded? Do you have a crony? Whenever one of mine starts to open up groups, I try different glass, and if that doesn’t work I crony a string to see if anything is going on there, and if that is fine, I address the barrel, and if that doesn’t work I smash it into 36 pieces…ONLY KIDDING. Good luck!
