One can but they didn’t have as many as I wanted left. ๐Ÿ˜ฏ Ernest said he was looking for 30 tins. :suprisedn: There are hundreds of pounds of lead in my backyard from shooting the last 23 years. ๐Ÿ˜€

Maybe get Steve to throw in a few tins since someone seems to have hoarded them all at Pyramyd. :fishing:

They shoot well in my Stubby Talon at about 930 FPS. I don’t know if they fit in the Cricket magazine. They are working on a shorter version for regular magazines. The JSB 10.34s are supposed to shoot very well in the Crickets.

I don’t know much of anything about 177, help !!! what do they shoot well ?? Polymags, is this known ??? Is it the 10.3 grain JSB that is the most proven performer normally ?? or do they shoot lighter stuff too.

:biggrinn:

Those .25 Polymags do amazing things. ๐Ÿ˜ˆ I ordered up a bunch of .177 Predators for Baby Cricket.

I thought the obvious winner would be based on his unique choice of airguns but in the end Demp223 takes the GOLD with his pink mist comment. It has caused me to laugh on and off all day !!! Just struck me funny…

Ehh, Ehhh
guy has to do , what a guy has to do

Pink mist!!!

i love it. ๐Ÿ˜†

I just take the trusty Rainstorm .177. Does the job just fine. I still can’t get uses to shooting sparrows with .22. There is something about hitting something with the. 177 and see it drop out of a tree like a rock. Maybe because it’s so whisper quiet and zero recoil.

Well – Taunting you say … Iยดd grab a Sako Finnbear in .458 WM. No pink mist, no lobotomy , no bird legs , no nothing and most importantly no more taunting . :4:

Yea.. I LOVE my Veles.. you’d have more chance of asking me to part with my left nut.. ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Heres some more pics of it varminting.. http://www.talonairgun.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=28559

Nice of you to offer a target with the pistol. ๐Ÿ™‚

Small game, close shot…Air Arms S510 Extra FAC .22, feels right and just a little tube sticks out the window. I don’t want a BP when I’m at a window-the farther back from the window I can position, the less likely the bastard-imported from England by some stupid fwad bird will see me; stay in the shadows. If I’m feeling uppity, I’ll grab a springer for that range.

Yes, the old RWS Model 48 .22 has nailed many a crow, feral cat, starling, jay, English sparrow, and countless squirrels. It’s the rifle that’s always leaning against a desk-ready to grab: 1.If some fool breaks into the house, it’s a cheap loss. 2 If I accidentally kick it over or someone else knocks it down-no big deal.

A .177 would be better, but don’t live in this house.

Demp, I like your “pink mist” approach  . After reading that, and the taunting bit, the .25 is tempting. After all. what better way to recycle animal waste than to atomize it, allowing for better bacterial breakdown into useful plant nutrients? The 30 degree angle kinda eliminates the .308 ๐Ÿ˜›

As long as the starling is dead, it’s good… it’s good.

Damn Wing, you loading that Veles with Polymags or Exacto knife blades?!! That’s some professional cranial lobotomizing you got there! Sweet!
