power adjust lelya .177
How can I adjust the power of the lelya?
Underneed the stock is the hammerspring what can be adjusted, but this has no influence on the pellet speed. You can let it shoot at lower fps but no higher. Only the air-use is getting bigger when you increase the preload.
So it seems the lelya is on it’s max with these setting of the regulator.
Is it posible to adjust the reg setting? and how will i do this?
The lelya shoots now @ 880fps/268 m/s and i would like to have about 920-980 fps / 280-300 m/s

Before messing things up, may Ed can give some advice??
I don’t remember adjusting the power on the Lelya…. I would think that the
only way to do it would be to turn up the regulator BUT, I have no experience
taking a Lelya apart so I am no help there..

I’m blind in my left eye and the title appeared on the left side of my screen, that’s (ahem….) why I didn’t spot that caliber.
From what I’ve read, the .117 should be adjustable. There’s a posting here on the Lelya and you might check in there and drop a question to see if someone can answer.
I remember the Lelya Mamcrackin had was adjustable and Gringoloco now owns that same Lelya. I’d contact either one of them if you don’t get a knowledgeable answer.

and it’s measured with the normal jsb exact
If the .22 has the same internals (reg) then it should be possible to increase the pressure setting of the .177 ??

What caliber do you have? What weight pellet are you using?
The Lelya was originally designed for .117 and later produced in .22 due to a few demands on this side of the world. We still await the .25 Lelya with heavier duty valve, and larger O.D. air tube. $200 USD isn’t that much more to pay!
So, what caliber is it, and what weight pellets are you shooting? It is possible that in .22 caliber, with heavy pellets, you may have reached the limits of this little darlings capability.
Ed…a .25 caliber Lelya, with upgraded valve, larger diameter air tube, and the world will be your market.

I told you I am blind in my left eye. Not that bright, nor do I have a good memory either. I’m 68….damn good looking mind you…but definitely starting to burn out from over use.
