Power difference between condor and the SS
Can someone tell me the fps and power difference between these models, is that the only difference besides sound? Is it just the longer barrel on the condor that makes it more powerful?
Would the condor be more or less quiet with a aftermarket/DIY silencer/supressor compared to the SS, and would such a thing be legal for hunting?
Any legit guides for a professional looking DIY supressor that works really well and doesn’t break the piggy bank? I seen one youtube video that involved pvc pipe and some hot tub supplies but that looked more like a hack job than anything.
Overall, whats the better way to go, trying to mod the condor, or just going with the SS?
Is the spinloc the way to go? Whats the deal with those “hi flow” air force tanks, do they come stock with them or just aftermarket?
Any mods people would highly recommend?
Lastly, anyone got a good scoop on a cheap scuba tank? Do i need a 3000 psi or 4500 one, any major advantages?

After my research, I decided to go with the SS version as I liked the quiet idea. Plus, the Condor platform is capable of way more power out of either standard barrel than you can actually use with conventional pellets anyway. The only real advantage of a longer barrel is that you can get a few more shots at a given energy level because you use less air to generate a given speed with the same pellet when compared to the 2 barrels. The tank is big enough for me at least that this did not matter. Heck, I get 60+ shots on a fill anyway.

the condor and condor SS are the same if they both use the same valve type and barrel length.
Those are the two factors: propulsion and barrel
So if you use a regular condor with the same caliber, valve and barrel of the SS you get the same results (not mentioning any tuning right now)
The SS is quiter for the installed barrel (18″)
So what do you want?
If you are happy with an 18″ barrel in the SS and you are looking for quiet out of the box, go with the condor SS.
You can build a suppressor with a PVC pipe or pool laterals as far as DIY. There are so many projects out there!
Or you can buy, but the range is $100-200 for a manufactured one.
I have a talon SS. it was quiet and all with the 12″ barrel. Then I decided I wanted a 24″ barrel and I did not care if it was quiet anymore.
So, again,what do you want? quiet or not.

with the ss you can always add a longer barrel if you want. for me the the extra power wasn’t really worth the noise, or having to spend the money on a suppressor. but that’s just my two cents.
