Q:

Power wheel moving

I have a Talon SS. The power wheel moves lower by 1/2 number (on the 16 number wheel) every shot I take. Never noticed it before I drilled the front bushing and frame, but never looked. Do to the 2 screws holding the bushing in place and the set srew in the bushing holding it to the barrel; the vent holes in the bushing are offset. Wondering if this could cause it along with the air getting past the second bushing? Or could it just be the click of the hammer?

I’ve got the root cause: 💡

spinj & Eradicator any guesses. 😉 or any other folks from this forum.

This is not a quiz but would just like to hear it from you all if ya got the right answer. 😛

The “rubber gasket-like piece on the rear bushing” it reduces the friction but is not the actual solution.

I ‘ve been looking through the past threads for an answer…
Couldnt find one…..
Talon Geeks …Kindly assist….

“rubber gasket-like piece on the rear bushing; it goes in between the bushing and the power wheel. This rubber helps keep the power wheel setting stay put.”

rubber gasket- is in place and still the Power wheel moves freely….

Having a hard time adjusting the power wheel to its sweet spot after every shot.

That is what I thought but it is in place. Wonder if the waser is too thin? Maybe it is not contacting the bushing?

I experienced the same problem before. The reason why my gun’s power wheel was moving was because I had forgotten to put back the rubber gasket-like piece on the rear bushing; it goes in between the bushing and the power wheel. This rubber helps keep the power wheel setting stay put.
