Power wheel Vs. Top Hat = game?
Well, I found my Top Hat to be as mensioned (stock from AF) to be almost 7 MM out. To me, it’s working fine. NOW…. I’ve heard that the “sweet spot” is or could usually be pretty far down on the Power Wheel setting for the gun, maybe from 4 – 7. This should (as I’ve heard) give you more if not max power with out wasting air, thus making the gun louder (air not used escaping following the pellet). If the Top Hat is\can be changed and the power wheel can be set about halfway or less, to decrease noise, and get more shots then what’s up with a High Flow Valve? Apparently I can have a similar release of air (more than enough?) with the stock tank & Hat. Basically if I got a HF Valve I should have to turn it down to! Otherwise once again air waste and noise are happening with this also!

Either is a big balancing act. the advantage of the hi-flow valve is it can release more air in a shorter amount of time than the standard valve (before the pellet exits the barrel) therefore giving more pressure for acceleration, higher velocity.
