Powering up a bsa ultra multi shot

Is it possiable to get more than 18 fpe from this gun i’am sure someone here has knowledge on this .My good friend has one in mine and where as 18fpe is good he may want more . Is it a hard mod if it can be done Thanks for any helps appreciated chris

Thanks i belive he will be fine with 18fpe only time will tell he gets the gun in 3 days .

Ultra at over 18fpe…

You may be able to do it… The Ultra does have a hammer spring adjustment behind the endcap… but……

my experience with it is that if set for anything other than factory specs, the gun tends to be quite erratic velocity-wise.

Besides… with that tiny tank on the Ultra, if you bumped up the power much, your shot count will plummet. You’re only getting 20 or so shots at 18fpe… bump that up to 24fpe for example and your shot count will be roughly half that. Just not worth it. Have him enjoy the gun for what it is or trade it in.

the super 10/ the ultra and the t10

Some of the BSA pcp’s have a preload adjustment screw at the back of the action.You will have remove it from the stock to see it.
