Pre ordering questions on Condor
Been looking at getting the Condor. Not the SS version. Was going to get it in .25 even though I have a lot of .22 pellets for my other guns. Figure get the barrel later for the .22 pellets. Unless you guys think bad idea? I live in the country and have plenty of room with good backstops on the hills on the property. So power and noise is not an issue. I shoot my normal rifles on the property so no problems. What I am wondering is I have looked and can not really get a good answer to it. When getting the .25 pellets are there any certain ones to get to try? I know I went through a lot of pellets finding good ones for my other guns. Just a rough of what may work good in .25 caliber so I do not need to buy each and every one at first. I know every gun likes certain ones and may not be the same for another one.

I think that the general consensus is the JSB 25.4.
I spent a LOT of time testing other pellets at various speeds and distances.
The Benjamin Domes do well as did the Kodiaks and the Predators but not as well as the JSB’s over all.
But I did have a lot of fun testing. 😀

Yep! Number 1 in most of our .25’s is the JSB bar none.
For really blowing up little critters, the pred. And it hits to almost the same point of impact up to abut 70 yards. After that, the JSB is much more accurate at the longer ranges.
The Benjies and Kod’s are hit or miss litteraly. Work in some guns, not iin others. A shame really. I wouold love for the Kod’s to work well for me in the 31 grain weight for longer range. But, they tend to start cork screwing after about 60 yards in most guns.
