preload
hi how much preload are you putting on your spring I have a big black spacer on mine not sure if its right and how heavy should the hammer be

I assume you’re over the pond where they regulate how many FPE you can have? In that case, no idea, as we have adjustable preload. Perhaps someone close by has a chrony for you to see where you’re at velocity-wise?

I found the PW to have little impact on my gun power/speed anyway. Looks like it varies from gun to gun (or valve to valve) as it works well for others.
What worked best for me for power adjustment is the use of an o-ring below the top hat.
