Yep, my favorite lately is overhearing people in gun stores say “Ya, good thing you bought it before Obama get’s in office”, or “I fig’rd I better get one more before Obama gets in just in case”, like the day of his innogeration the Second Ammendmant is going to automatically expire!
To my knowledge, the only constitutional amendment to ever be repealed is the 16th amendment with congress’s ratification of the 21st amendment concerning the repeal of prohibition. Please don’t forgot also that it is CONGRESS that holds the power of repeal or ratification solely, not the executive branch. Any repeal or ratification of an amendments would then be required to be ratified by three-fourths of the states within seven years or the amendment would rendered inoperable.
The gun store owners, who typically seem to lean really far to the right in my observations, must be at total discord with theirselves in resolving their own political beliefs vs. their thankfullness for the outcome of the election’s increase in gun sales. All it proves to me personally is that all is well in America as long as;
1. The american public are sheep (or “sheeple” as I like to call them)
2. fear still equals consumerism.
At least we always have fear to comfort us!

I proudly gave 4 years of my youth in service to this great country, as did my father (a “tunnel rat” 67′-68′ Khe Sahn, Danang, Qauntree, Tet offensive) and my Grandfather before him (Pearl Harbor survivor). THANK YOU SYNOP. I totally agree with ya…the last 8 years were the BEST of my life. I so enjoyed paying just under 5 bucks a gallon for gas and watching the horrible war footage on tv plus…..911. Sorry guys, but OBAMA or anyone else cannot top that one. THE FACTS.
JESUS….the man is not even in office yet and there is all this SPECULATION of what he might do. Right now he is totally focused on the economy and trying to get it all back together. Face it, there is no GREAT PRESIDENT. I am pretty sure he will have SOME TYPE of flaw. But until then, i can’t speculate on what he “MIGHT DO”. Hell, look at the CATASTROPHY of the the BUSH ADMINISTRATION. HELLLLLLOOOOOO!!!
I see arguing all the time when someone new is elected. They all suck. But until Obama is PROVEN to SUCK, We can’t say he sucks yet….he hasnt even become Pres. nor has he PASSED ANY BILL. Just the facts as of now.

Yeah, because we had the best time with Bush in office. Largest loss of life from an attack on US ground in the last 100 years, highest unemployment rate, foreclosure rate and corruption that I can ever remember. Banks are going under, yeah it isn’t Bushes fault but it did happen on his watch.
Oh yeah there is now TORTURE by Americans as part of fighting a ‘war’… Yeah, nice work, helps us in oh so many ways… That sure makes me proud!!! WTF!
Not saying Obama is going to be good but it’s amazing people think the last eight years have been even close to acceptable.
Well yea, what do expect when a big government socialist gets elected??? We have to elect one every-so-often to remember how miserable we are all when they are in office.
A good example of the stupidity is the career resurrection of Tom Daschle. He was voted out of office by the good folks in SD, now, he may be in charge of socializing health care.

Well he won. I’ll give him that. I will “wait and see”. I want to see what kind of judges, if any, he appoints. All the talking heads were wondering who he was going to pick as his chief of staff and saying “so and so would be good because he can work will both sides of the isle” Then when he made his choice known they were like “Whoa this guy is WAY left of center”. But I’ll go along with Tofaz for now and see what happens.
