Primos Trigger Tripod
Hello guys, has anyone used Primos trigger tripod. how good is it in the field expecially for bullpups

Wildfire , I agree I really like my Prismo shooting stick as a shooting support . The only thing that pisses me off about it is the fact that I was
too stupid to not have invented it and make millions from it , because , it truely is a great shooting support wheather you have the Tripod ,
the Bipod , or the Monopod .

I agree Birdman! I tried the mono-pod but my “antique” years makes me too shaky so I switched over to the bi-pod set-up. I know it’s not air gun related but, last season I took a doe with my crossbow at 72yds using the Trigger Stick. I love those things.

Wildfire , Even though I can shoot freehand very well I often use my Primos Monopod shooting stick . It never hurts to have extra
shooting support on hand when needed .

I have two Primos “trigger sticks” ! Both bi-pods, short and tall. I’ve had them both for at lease four years and never had a problem with either of them and I use the shit out of them. I use the short one when I’m still hunting and sitting up against a tree or something and I use the tall when spot and stalk hunting.
I’m a pretty crappy “off hand” shot so I use them for everything, even my crossbow!

Bench shooting is OK, tripod shooting is good, Monopod shooting is another skill level ,

Mike, bein’ a West Texas guy, I bet you’ve shot off of a “buffalo stick” too? I’ve carried a sotol seed pod stick a million miles on spot and stalk hunts all over the country. That is the ultimate monopod and is a game changer for moving targets on a spot and stalk hunt. Haven’t done it in years as I pretty much bow hunt now for deer and other larger game, but I still have some sticks in my garage and the property I hunt on out west has one pasture that has some sotol cactus in case I need a new stick.
Yea, any one that gets good with the Primo mono pod , I do not care what you shoot is a dam good shot….
Bench shooting is OK, tripod shooting is good, Monopod shooting is another skill level ,

iride , that is exactly the same Primos Trigger Monopod that I have .

I bet this is the mono Pod you use,,, Its not like shooting from a bench or even a tri Pod,,,, As long as I can hit a sparrow at 38 and 48 yards I am happy as can be,,,,
I started shooting with my mono Pod thinking someday, sometime, I might be able to, or just my chance I might get out in the field and shoot a little , and I know there will be no benches out there and I do not want to drag around a heavy tri pod, No one hole groups with it but I have got a hell of a lot better shooting off it the past six months….

i just got this one to use with a camera tripod i already had… works ok but the fit with my k-gun carabine could be better

iride , I do not know how to down load a picture into my PC little lone know how to even post it on a website . As to shooting from my boat
the rhythm of the rocking and swaying of the boat is controled by the strenght of the current due to the pull of the tide . Once you get use
to the movement rhythm of the current shooting is really quite easy . Much more easier than shooting from leaning out of a moving helicopter .

How do you shoot from a boat, is it not rocking and moving all the time, Just because I live in the desert , I got a lake about 300 miles from me, But no boat.
I was trying to post pictures of my Walmart Monopod but my photo bucket is screwed up,
I will get them up, Would like to see your monopod, Just to compare,

I have the Shockey Primos Tall Trigger Shooting Monopod , got it on E-Bay for around $48.00 . It goes from 29″ to 63″ . It works great
wither I’am shooting from land or when shooting from my boat .

I liked mine so much I had one shipped to my sister as a surprise gift.
(Actually sent two because the first one got shipped to wrong address and was lost. 🙁 )
She doesn’t shoot and was perplexed. She left a messages saying,
“I got a package at the office and someone sent me a RIFLE stand. I am wondering if what you really wanted to do.”
She thought I was off my rocker sending her a GUN accessory, but it was intentional.
She’s into endurance hiking and photography, but had no clue I had just sent her the best, super fast, light and stable tripod for her camera.
Had to explain how the yoke comes off and exposes threading for a camera.
Now she happily takes it hiking and has even switched the top to some sort of better camera mount.
