Problem mounting rare AF fiber optics

I just run into a problem mounting the rare AF fiber optics to my Condor.
I tightened the screw, that clamps to the tri rail, really hard. Now the sight still doesn’t clamp on and im afraid if i try to tighten it even more the plastic disc will break. Any advice?
