problem with condor power
hi i have a .22 condor when i first got it i would fill it to 2700 psi and it would fire strong now it wont start firing powerful untill around 2200 psi can anyone help?

i just took the gun appart cleaned all the grease off with ballistol and oild the hammer and barrel with silicon spring cylinder oil and turned out the top hat alittle and the performance seems to have returned to normal
Inside the frame and for the Hammer, I use a small amount of silicone OIL as used for paintball guns, I’ve had issues with the grease slowing stuff down too.

if i turn the top hat out or unscrew it will that increase my power?
Yeah I think I might try wiping all the grease from the frame and hammer, where everything is completly clean and dry and see what happens then. While silicone is a good lubricant, it may actually slow down parts that move quickly, like a hammer for instance.
i greased the barrel with silicon grease where the hammer slides i wonder if the grease is actually slowing down the hammer
when’s the last time your gun had a thorough cleaning (remove barrel, hammer,breeck, etc) try Cleaning everything (especially inside the frame), lightly lubricate with silicone oil/grease and see if the problem goes away. Dirty internals will slow down the hammer and reduce power. also check that the tophat hasn’t worked loose as mentioned above.
not to sure on that….maybe top hat prob.? anyone else wanna correct me on that if im wrong?

rathunter, do you happen to have the older Condor valve? If you can take a picture of the valve section of your bottle with emphasis on the brass base right below the bottom of the tophat. The newer Condors have a different looking base. I used to experience the same problem you are experiencing now with my old valve.
