Prod/talonP/SS?
Prod or maybe the Talon P?
I’ve got a disco in .177 cal with a power tune, trigger job, brass trigger and recrown from mountain air customs. I really like it. But I’ve got a scope and bipod on it, and it’s set up for more of a rested roll than woods walking. I would like something compact that I can toss in the car or in a pack and shoot med sized game with. I was really thinking the Prod. I also only have the disco hand pump, so large volumes of air means less fun and lots of pumping. I tried a 1377 custom, but it seems it always gets a leak or breaks a valve when I want it to be working. So now I’m thinking the Prod or Talon P may be the key. I would like quiet, with a good trigger and to use it more as a short carbine than true pistol. On the Prod, if I get the pyramidair version with AR stock, can I get a cheak riser to fit that? Or would I be better off with the Talon P or even SS and working from there?

It takes some time to get use to but its not too bad. If you are looking for long range maybe a Condor SS would be better. The condor SS in .22 will be my next toy. :biggrinn:
Ty, been on the yellow for a while but it’s hard to discuss quiet airguns there without breaking the rules. I’ve got a diso currently with some custom work and my 1377 custom is up and running at the moment. I’m kinda torn. I’m having issues with gophers past 60 yards and want a bit more knock down, but I also want quite and portable. Lol, I probably should narrow down my criteria. The ss would be quiet..but I hear they are a pain to get a cheek weld on.
First :tag: The SS will be quietest out of them. Also it is a nice compact size out of the box. I hand pump my SS and it is not that bad at all. Maybe 8 to 12 minutes to fill from around 2000 PSI.
