Proper Intro!
To all,
yahoy! I’ve been nosin around this site for a little while to see what in the blazes is going on here?! Talk of shooting tree rats and whatnot, shooting crow, raccoon and other so called vermin with high powered air rifles for fun??? My God people! Where have you been all my life?! I must say I’m anxious to join in the fun. Some of my military buddies and I love to go out into the woods and do some hunting (or exterminating depending on what crosses our path) with air rifles. I currently only have a tuned Gamo viper .177 which is great, but I’ve got the pcp bug bad right now- it’s straight up rediculous. I’m looking to buy a rifle probably a Talon SS for the quiet. Wifey thinks I’m nuts because I actually enjoy shooting my air rifle more than my real rifles. Maybe I am a little nutzo but it’s all for fun no? Anyway, good to meet you all! I’m down here in the sunny state of Florida until I transfer. Taley Hooooo!

TnT….. you may want to check with MigRod and see if there is anything left to shoot or wrestle with in the State of FL. He may have cleaned you guys out. 😛 😆

I went “AIR” after getting sick of reloading centerfire ammo. 22LR is good too, but air (and CO2) is the best for shooting fun.
Florida? You could use CO2 in the Talon year round.
FYI, akula is our resident wise man.

First PCP air rifle is definitely a monumental change, you’ll find yourself taking and hitting shots that you never would have expected possible with a “lowly little pellet gun” as most of my friends gave me hell when I bought my first talonSS (until they shot it, then they wanted one too).

Thanks for the awesome welcome fellas! I’m trying to talk one of my Army buddies into buying an airforce rifle with me so we can tinker together and go plunder.
