Q:

Proper Scope Choice?

I would like to know what kind of scope should go on a .25 condor from talon tunes. I am looking for a pretty high quality scope that has good magnification and clarity. I will be using this .25 condor for trying to get good at a 100 yards with it. i have seen a lot of scopes but honestly don’t know were to start cause their is so many. Plus you have to make sure they are for Air Rifles and not Powder guns. Thanks for the help 🙂

Thanks for all the replies about scopes and did some more looking and found a Hawke Sport Optics Eclipse 6-24x50AO Scope, Illuminated Mil-Dot Reticle, 1/4 MOA, 30mm Tube. Just would like to know is that good for some long range shooting up to 100 yards. That’s my goal anyways with Air Rifles. I plan to get the AirForce Condor upgraded to the .25 from talon tunes. I’m sure I will be doing some evening or morning shots due to some coyotes around my house. I have decent experiences at shooting powder rifles as a kid and what not. But this air rifle thing has peaked my interest and seems to be more of a challenge. If you could let me know if this kind of scope is what i should be looking at. Price wise (400.00) for a scope. Also something with a variable adjustment and illumination capable. I guess I would like a Mil-Dot set up. Mil-Dots are used for quick adjustments when you have to shot farther or wind changes? Thanks for all your help guys (F.N.B) haha

There are some good deals on the Bushnell 3200’s around now, apparently they are being discontimued. They are splendid scopes and go for around $300.00 if you get a deal on anything 5×15 or 7X21 front AO.

I at first went with Barska and although they never let me down, they are bottom rung scopes. With low cost scopes you will never take advantage of your rifles true potential, you will just be getting by.

I now have a 5×15 mildot tactical 3200 Bushnell on my Condor 25 and I love it. I did have a 7×21 Mildot 3200 Bushnell on it that I got on sale for three months, it is such a nice scope, but it is under the bed waiting to be put on another gun, maybe a Royal..after I heal up from the Ranger 45 purchase.

Same as PB rifle… spend at least $200 on a quality name… like a Nikon Prostaff or Leupold. You may want a scope with adjustable objective for close range shots. You should get mil-dots or similar OEM plex rectal 😉 so that you can manage your hold over.

Don’t cut corners on your scope… it was the best advice I ignored until I learned the hard way.
