Good idea with the foam Ken! Thanks for posting that up, I’ll point others here if they run into the same problem with the bipod.

Rifle looks great & I’m glad you’re happy with the shroud.

Take care,

Ed,
That last pic. is a 24in. Condor with the Shroud attached (so is this one).It works GREAT,and isn’t that long at all.
Since then I put a rubber cushion on the shroud so that if I don’t use the Bi-pod it dosn’t get scratched if I lean the tip against something to take aim.

the cover is NOT the tape that is in the pic,the tape was used on the grip(which works VERY well over a rubber slip on grip that I have on there),instead it’s a rubber cushion tube that I cut and slipped over the shroud, sort of like a pipe insulation (it feels like the covering that the air tank has on it).
I also have one that I cut to cover the shroud completely for when I take it outside for a hunt,Don’t want to ding this baby up at all 8).

Hey Eddie, number of baffles and spacing has changed slightly since my original pictures but it’s otherwise the same. The shroud adds 10″ to the Condor frame and will accommodate the 24″ barrel.

Regards,

Metal are you making your shrouds like you did your first one I seen posted? also how long are you making shrouds for a 24 inch barrel on a Condor I have one on mine now that was on it when I bought it kind of long for me at 16 1/4 inches long from the stock front cap to the end of the shroud.

😯 Damn bro, that one stung.

That bastard is the whole reason I did the work up front and didn’t ask for payment until the work was finished and I had pictures to show the buyers. At least they’d see what kind of work they’d receive up front and their money wouldn’t be tied up waiting on me. Unless it’s someting truly one off or very expensive I’ll try to continue doing business this way to make it less of a risk for the buyers.

((caveate – not gay, just funny))

Well done, Metal Head 😀
Rifle looks outstanding !

Sweet Set Up! 😀

Mike

Thanks for the compliments everyone!

I should also mention that MEKONE is a great buyer. Since people don’t know me too well around here yet I agreed to machine the shroud and barrel on Ken’s word and not ask for payment until I had pictures showing everything was complete and I was ready to ship. Once my end of the deal was done, Ken paypaled me the money in less than 24 hours.

Regards,

Ed,thats a 24in. barrel just like the stock .22 cal that I replaced.
The .25 is a NOTICABLE change from the .22,but this shroud makes it “Backyard” friendly and has great detail 😀 .

What barrel length do you have? I was curious great looking rig! and as always Metal your work really looks great.

Nice work MetalHead

NICE RIG! GREAT WORK METALHEAD!
