Q:

Pulled the MUtant 22 out ,

Using Bizills magazine holders way cool, No fumbling in the pockets , No trying to open a pill bottle for the magazines , Just pull it off the side and stick the empty on, Right up there with the Cricket holders , One handed holding the gun, Super cool.
But my 22 Mutant was giving me a big puff of air in my right eye,
Got the FBI, CIA, and the cops and every body else looking for the special tools for the O rings,
That was a fuck up putting them SOBs in, Then I broke the dam gun, Shit.

That’s good to hear !!
Whenever I swap out the barrels I always engage the safety first before loosening the frame hexs.
It helps to keep the frame at the same trigger break location when tightening back up the 4 frame hexs.

If not, if the frame slips too far forwards and pulls on the trigger rod, the gun will not cock.

Thanks Greg
Its not had changing barrels, But that is when the puff started,
The Linstone barrel is on now just so I can shoot a lot of different pellets, Even the unshootable H&N Barracuda hunter at 18,21 gr
Shoots pretty good at 30 yards,

What you broke ?

I know it’s a bitch to install a new Breech O-ring on the Mutant, it’s far way inside.
Use a wooden dowel and insert it down the barrel ending just shy of the O-ring groove.
Lube up the O-ring and give it a pinch squeeze into the groove.
May need to use a plastic fork to help to hold it in and push it with a finger.

The other way is to remove the barrel.
The barrel is just butted up against the Breech O-ring inside of the receive.
But, that can be a bitch time to do.
So if you ever pull the barrel it’s a good time to replace the breach O-ring while you’re at it.
