Just got shipping confirmation on my order for 4 tins, placed yesterday.
.177 exact heavy 500ct
.22 exact jumbo 500ct
Don’t know how many they’ve got, some of you guys that order 20 tins at a time may not get orders filled, but small quantity orders are available for sure.

Sounds like the way they load the tins to cause damage in the center. I would not like the job of loading soft lead pellets without damage. How do you do that? The Crossman premiers are over 600 to the box.
I agree it is probably easier with smaller numbers. On the other hand the JSBs are a lot cheaper in the 500 tins.
The CPs are lead alloy (not pure lead) and so harder, plus the skirts are much thicker than the JSBs

received mine. box good, not beat up, packaging adequate (could turn the box over differnt directions and nothing moved inside). 2 of 4 tins lightly dented when I opened the box. the .177s now have tape around the lid. they were in fine shape. I got the 500 ct .22s and the tins are huge and have an attempt at a thread on lid (not a very good one though).
Both tins of .22s have some damaged pellets, but I don’t beleive it is something PA or the shipper can control. upon opening the tin, it is lined with light foam, top and bottom and pa’s packaging appeared adequate this time if not great.
I did not shake the tins, just opened carefully and guess what……..damaged pellet skirts. the thing is, the damaged ones were all near the middle of the tin, not around the edges where the couple shipping dings were. My conclusion is this: The very thin skirts, pure soft lead, heavy weight, and large quantity are a combonation which unavoidably results in some damaged pellets, from their own weight within the tin. Maybe it is better to order the .22s in the smaller 250 ct tins. I bet these 500 ct tins could be packed one tin per box, surrounded by foam on all sides, and still have some damaged ones.
Just received notification that PA shipped 12 JSB jumbo’s. Kodiaks and Crow Magnums are still on backorder… ordered them them the second week of August.
I got 12 (500) tins of JSB 15.9 gr in about a week ago, too.
The Kodiaks are still back ordered and have been for a wihile.
I have back orders in at PA, Midsouth, and Midway.
They keep slipping the day out. Dr Beeman must be chuckling about now.
I’m wondering at what stage in shipping does the damage occur… I had one tin with the edge smashed in, but the box was in perfect shape, how does that happen. Unless PA gets them like that, and then they ship them out that way? You would think a cardboard box would show major damage if a metal tin inside the box is dented that bad.
It happens when the shippers toss them around during delivery.
The inside of the box has almost indiscernible rings where the stack of pellets meets the cardboard. The outside of the box is perfect.
The problem is they never pad completely around the pellets inside the box. Every time the padding was around the pellets, but never on at least one end of the box.
It seems like the larger they make the bundle of tins, the worse the damage gets. I got better pellets when I ordered 2 tins at a time.

I got 12 tins on Monday. They were packaged all stacked together, and wrapped in massive amounts of plastic and bubble wrap.
The tin on each end is smashed. They just put them in a box with nothing padding each end of the stack. The packing list had the name of the packer on it too, as “supervisor”…
Its definitely shipping damage, they just insist on improper packaging.
I guess I was lucky when all my Kodiaks came in undamaged.
I just recieved an order of 4 tins of Kodiak 25’s and 2 of the tins were crushed. I lost about 1/4 of the pellets in both tins.
Then they had the cahones to send me a servey about there new packaging material. Duhhhhhh!
I know these pellets have unusually thin skirts, but if they can’t ship them right, they shouldn’t do it all. To me it’s like ordering a new window, and find it’s cracked, or broken. Ain’t worth a shit. All I can say is thank God I didn’t order more. I guess I could have just got a bum shipment.
would you PLEEEAAASSSEEE do so…..no, make it 100….then you can do like the guy on Yellow; wait till everyone else is out of stock and sell them to us commoners for $24 per tin plus shipping. 😯 😯 😯 😉

Well I hope your pellets dont come like mine did. Got 4 500 ct tins and one tin was dented, many of the pellets have bent mis shapen skirts, and are grouping badly. Im pissed. Haven’t inspected all the pellets yet though.

I see what you mean. Where could I find out more about the composition of different brands of pellets? Have you seen any write-ups on the defferent generations of pellet manufacturing machines?
I have heard that JSB uses a superior method.
