Q:

QB 79 drop block O ring size????

Can anyone tell me the size of the o rings for these??? They should be the same ones for the discovery valves but I would appreciate advice on the best oring to improve upon the discovery valve ones???

I spent time and gas today searching but came up short. I will hit ACE hardware before work in the am and hopefully find some. Thanks.

Welll……..errrrrrrrrrr……hmmmmmmmmm..talk to my attorney 😎

It is my understanding from the rumors I have read on the net that you are always squeezing it too hard. 🙄

Carl

They are already in the USPS 😎

I see my measurements were pretty accurate..I obviously was squeezing just a wee bit too hard when measuring the thickness though…..

Thanks Wok and Carl. Yeah, I kind of figured 2mm width would be ideal as I have some green 1.8mm that work to seal it initially but it leaks down after a few days. Packrat is sending me a few 😀

Joe,

Here is the information I got straight from the horse’s mouth, or Stephen Archer in this case. 😀

The tank block O rings are 19mm o/d and 2mm width.

Carl

You should check and see if Mac1 has the orings. The ones he has are tough as nails and last for years.

LOL

Thanks Rocko, and thanks packrat! I will check out ACE in the morning. Hopefully they will have some. I have been patient with this carbine. I’ve been through alot with this one. In the end I think it will be worth it. It’s coming out 😎 😎 😎

I just went measured one of my spares…it is 0.753″ OD, the thickness is 0.072″….too hard to measure ID, besides, you don’t need to know all dimensions anyhow…If you get one with correct OD, and correct material thickness, the ID will be perfect….only number it could be 😀 😀 😀 ….with those 2 dimensions you should fund what ya need at ACE !!!! I used some from ACE on my disco, had ’em there for months….no failures 😎 😎
If ya can’t find any bro’ , send me you snail addy-I’ll mail ya some!!!

For the QB79 -Same as used on end of paint ball tanks. Works great.

Not sure if they will work on the Disco.
