Q:

question: .25 long reg adjustment

For those who have the .25 long and already did their reg adjustment.

What were you stock: reg setting at and fps using 25g JSB?
And how much reg turn CC to get it in the 900fps +-10/15?

I want to ask this cause I want to do a 1 shot 1 kill on the reg adjustment. Have not done anythng to mine yet. Presently shooting 25g at 1000fps and my trigger pull is like 20lbs. Yes 20lbs not 2 lbs.

Thanks all!

I know every run the reg is diff a bit and I am not anal at all :-), fps betwwen 900 +- 5fps I’ll take it.

jk: I’ll take 890 +- 20fps..where ever that 1/2 turn leave me at.

Each gun is a sum of its parts working together. Everyone’s adjustments will be different. You’ll have a good starting point based on others settings but highly unlikely it will be exactly what your particular rifle will work best at.
Also depending on how anal you are.

I have a standard, not a long so input is based on that (but the same *should apply for long).

based on your current position (12 o’clock) you should get roughly -15 fps / hour (turned CW).

So perhaps 6 o’clock would be a good first positioning?

Start however with the HST and see if its at max (optimal) setting or if turning it in will increase fps beyond 1000 fps.

* The above have worked for ME and MY r3 but its no guarantee it will work for you.
