Q:

Question about change from .22 to .25

Hi…

If i would to change the barrel of the Condor from .22 to .25, i know that i need:

-the new .25 barrel
-a new hammer of about 90/95 grams (the actual weight of the hammer+spacer it’s approximately 68 grams)

but, ¿it’s necessary to change the breech slide? ¿the .25 new barrel fits on the same hole of the breech slide? ¿Are there necessary anything else?

best regards from Spain 😉 …and thank you very much

I’ve a 18″ .25 barrel in mine. Costom valve and pushing kodiaks at 885 fps with a 22gram hammer! Getting 35 shots from it!

Cheers.

Yep-
I too have a reg. Talon stock everything [ have yet to install Brad valve]
getting like # as Critter.
And a whole lot of shots to boot.

I have an SS without ANY other mods than a .25 barrel. No new hammer or anything. I shoot 37grn Euin Jins @ 790 and have no problem with the trajectory. I have shot rabbits at over 100 yds and cans at 175 without a problem….

Yeah that’s with a 24″ barrel though. I’m just thinking you don’t need a heavier hammer nessesarily. If you already have a Condor, a barrel swap should be all you need for decent performance.

Hmmm…. is a custom heavier hammer essential to to shoot the Condor in .25? I went .25 with my SS, and just added the striker weight to the stock hammer, seems to work fine. Pushing Kodiaks in the very high 900’s…

You can use the same breech slide. You will need to have a hi-flow valve, at least, to push the .25 pellets fast enough.

aloha,
