Q:

Question about Pomona Airguns

I ordered an Air Wolf from PAG ~May 14th this year. I was told it was about a 7 week wait….. Each time I call back, I get some excuse about the guys being held up in customs in England. What gives, 35 weeks later I’m tired of waiting. Is he screwing with me?

no worries with steve at P A G… if he had the gun in stock, it would have shipped…. the customs hold ups are a pain, and not uncommon, but hang in there….

Just tell them that, you ve been more than patient, and they have a week to deliver it or the deals off. you want the gun by the end of the week or a check.

they sure dont want to have to refund the dough , and they might “”Get on it “” real quick.like priority mail quick.

what do you have to lose?

Alright, I’ll just wait. I dont have much time to shoot right now anyways. I think I’ve put maybe 100 pellets through all my pellet rifles combined this year 🙁

I have heard alot of good things about Pamona and Steve. My guess is
he was given false info from who he gets his shipment from. Though he
may have fudged on the time for delivery. Even the best dealers
probably won’t tell you they don’t know when they can get you your
order, as they know you will then go elsewhere. No way to know for
sure, but I would not hesitate to do business with him in the future.

At least you did’nt have to wait 36 weeks for 6 tins of pellets!

All that I can say is that when I sent my Air Wolf to Pomona to have some work done on it they were very friendly, helpful and open. Moreover, I have never heard a bad word about them or their services. That being said, 35 weeks does seem like an awfully long wait for a not overly rare gun.

Yes and no…..

I have had an Air Ranger on order since around the end of May from Jim at Precision Air.

Airguns of Arizona is the distributor (importer?… whatever… they get them here from overseas)

I finally called Robert at Airguns of Arizona to ask and he said that when he orders the guns, he doesnt get a shipment in of different Daystates… he gets a shipment of Air Rangers…. or a shipment of Air Wolfs… so he can get them cheaper.

He may be full of shit, too… but it makes sense. Robert did tell me that when he last visited the factory, they were finishing up on his latest shipment of Air Rangers…. but said the last shipment was the Air Wolfs… so maybe there were folks ahead of you? I dont know.

Robert is easy to talk to… I’d ring him and ask.
