question for the pros here
how would i go about polishing my tophat i have all the tools needed i think just dont know what where or how to do it??? thanks

so i have to take to tophat out of the tank
a little metal polish where the oring touches the T H.
The smoother the inside of the stem the faster the air will flow.
the cleaner the ouside of the stem the better the seal around it.
Oh make sure the bottle is emty first.
Lube helps.

No not really. Get a flash light and look down the stem, you might get away with just swabbing it with a Q-tip or whatever.
If you feel comfortable you can disasemle the valve. I would then replace all orings while in there.
