Question: Looking for Barrel Length/FPS Equation

All things being equal – Assuming I’ve established a solid fps/fpe over my chrony. Is there an equation or approximate “percentage increase” per inch of added barrel length?

I’m aware of AirForce’s table under their FAQ section, but I question their numbers.

Backstory: I’ve got your typical 18″ Annuzzi setup right now, and I’m kicking around the idea of purchasing another .22 barrel between 21″ – 24″ long.

So, a 24″ bbl would produce about 90fps over my 18″ bbl? Does that magical “15” represents both my stock AND my restrictive tanks?

Also, is this from an equation or your own personal trial and error?

From that length it is about 15 fps/Inch increase
