Question: TalonP tank/valve vs Condor Hi flo Tank/valve
I know this has probably been asked AND answered before, but my search is coming up short…maybe its the way i was typing “hi flow” lol.
Anyways, im new to the AF platform (No, not new to PCPs though) and recently bought a TalonP for backpack hunting on state land…I liked the high power in a small package…already got a couple mods for it and its sitting a nice mad dog ultima stock w a TT shroud…my next step was upgrading the tank to a condor sized one for a few reasons….
1. The maddog stock is built for a longer tank, so looks weird with a small TalonP tank
2. I’d love the extra shots
3. Eventually building a talondor later on so will need it anyways
But what I want to know is the difference between the valves and if they are interchangeable? I’ve heard many different things…
Is the valve in my TalonP tank stronger, weaker, or equal to the high flow valve/tank of a Condor???
If it IS stronger or equal, can i take it out and place it in a STANDARD condor tank to save some cash???
If it is weaker, then this is simple and ill just buy a hi flow condor tank!
Also, what about the “extreme valve” that RL airguns sells? How much “better” is it than the hi flow valve? or is it just a modded / overpriced version of it? anyone used one and compared the differences?
basically i just need to know, will buying me a new condor tank give me more power than my TalonPs tank already does? or just give more shots/make the stock look better??? and if NOT, can i take the TalonP valve and put it into a standard condor tank to save cash and keep the same power?
If anyone has a Spin-Loc Condor tank, standard OR high flow for sale…feel free to PM me 🙂

talonp valve will not fit into a standard airforce tank. the threads are different.
the talonp valve is somewhat hotter than a stock condor valve.
a condor valve will give reduced velocities compared to the talonp valve when using it with the 12″ barrel.
i have no experience with the r&L valve.
