Q:

Questions about Compressors,

Hi guys, I am a new member here on the forum but an old fan of air guns. I have owned several spring rifles but never a PCP, and I would like my first to be a condor. But I have lots of questions about filling and maintenance I hope they are not so stupid.
Where I live it is perfectly legal to own and shoot an air gun and there are no power limits, but importing an air gun is impossible so as a result air guns here coast twice as much as they should.
I also make some mods, the latest was a shroud for a D350 classic and I wanted to make my own PCP based on the Matador and I contacted Ed but he is a busy man (and that is a very very long term project).

So down to the point, I wanted to buy a condor but in order to do so I have to get it in parts, so I have emailed one of AF representatives and should get back to me with a price on the frame, since at AirForce the frame is out of stock, by the way anyone knows when they will be avilabe again?

And since I am buying bits and pieces I wanted to get a larger bottle with a regulator, where do I get that?

A shroud? I think I will make one once the frame is in my hands.

Has anyone of you guys heard about the shoebox compressor?

Can I use it directly to fill a AF condor bottle?

The Shoebox compressor is a great little unit. Many guys here on the TAG forum use one. Tom Kaye, the designer and manufacturer of the Shoebox, is a classy guy who has gone to great legnths to produce a compressor that works well for our sport. You should e-mail him. He or his wife, (think competent business partner), will contact you and answer your questions.

Also, Joe Broncato can help you with hoses and fittings. He too is a classy guy who gets things right:
