Q:

questions

Hello All,
I am fairly new to airguns and optics. I have an AF scope on my Condor SS now and I am looking to upgrade. This is where my question is. There are so many choices and brands.

Do you guys only buy a certain brand? and why?

I was thinking of buying used to get a much higher grade scope at a discounted price but not sure. I am thinking of spending between 300-400 dollars then buying the yukon 2×24 and adapter for a night vision set up. I know it is not the best since it is gen 1 but I dont want to spend thousands for it.

I am sure I will get about a million different replies to this and they all will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Optics/Nightvision

In that price range you could look at Bushnell, Nikko Sterling, MTC Viper, Hawke. What kind of mag you want will determine the price as well depending on what make/model. I have a 8-32X60 Nikko Sterling Nighteater I like, (under 400 bucks) and have it on my AF rifle. My AA 410 is topped with a 4-16X50 Millet TRS-1. I think I’m the only one around that that has one, but it’s darn good for 300 bucks. The Bushnell Legend is very popular. You can get it for under 200 bucks I believe.

Cheaper scopes like Leapers, or Centerpoint are quite popular to, but the QC seems to be iffy on those, at least with the ones I’ve had.
