Q:

Questions on the Latest HBirds

So bonus time is approaching and it’s been a good year. I may have a little extra to sneak a Bird in into the arsenal if the it has matured enough by say March.

A couple of questions for those in the know…

1. Are they caught up on deliveries or is there still a significant backlog?

2. Are they still having blow back or other issues as they arrive or are the latest ones ready-to-go?

3. What calibers, colors, and lengths are now available (or in a month or so)? (I want it short and light as possible)

Thanks in advance!!! The best airgun information is available on Talonairgun. 😉

Cool – give us an entire review. It sounds like they will be here soon enough. 😀

quote keyser soze:

At this point I think it would be foolish to invest in the Colibi with the Vulcan coming out in February. I have had correspondence with the owner of Airgun Technology (Evgeny) about his gun. He really seems to care about quality. Evgeny stated that AGT planned on producing 100 guns per month at a maximum, with the first shipment slated to go to Peter and Bori at Topgun-Airguns. I am cautiously optimistic about the Vulcan and if you don’t already own a Colibri I think waiting to see how the Vulcan turns out would be the smarter play.

Exactamento ! I´m getting my Volcano in a two weeks time. We´ll see how that one is behaving.

Can be easily modify for full auto as well, compliments from your friend Sir Ville !!!!!

Where is he by the way ?

Thanks for all of the updates. I knew the Bird had a few problems but had no idea it was a dodo waiting for extinction. 😯 Maybe they will go back to the drawing board. In the meantime I really like my .177 Compact Cricket w/ skeleton which is the gun I shoot the most. I guess there is nothing else out there that is so small, light, accurate, and a repeater at the same power level?

The HB is not what it was said to be , which got all of our blood running hot to have a decent semi-auto in .177 , .22 , .25 cal. as stated . I don’t know
why it ended up as a bolt action repeater only in .22 cal. which really pissed me off . If the maker says that they are making a semi-auto , then they
should be making what they promised , a semi-auto rifle . Since , it’s only a repeater , I would be leaning towards buyiny the Vulcan which not only
looks more appealing , but , it not only states that it is a repeater , but you can change the bolt action from left hand to the right hand side which
to all the lefty’s like myself makes this rifle more desirable .

FROM : THE BIRDMAN

Strange, that was not what WWAG Steve told me on his so called last shipment of, last summer ?
He said, all Compacts.
On his recent shipment he had some in 22 cal also.

Also more on, “Rumors that KalibrGun may never pursue or attempt the True Semi-Auto feature in the Colibri again.”

If one mod his bird and KG updates the Colibri to have a semi kit available.
One may need to find replacement part(s) that have been modify and that are unable to be return to it’s factory specs to make the mechanism function.

I don’t have a .177…….. Hmmm

it is only the compact .22 that was discontinued, the .177 has always been available..

There’s also seems to be a lot of Venders carrying the so called, “Discontinued Compact” ??????

More paranoia for ya ! 😯

I like the compact cricket and was looking at finding a used one, but the price on the lelya was to good to pass.

quote Leadbetter:

I had my heart set on one last summer, but think I’ll hold out on it for awhile. Got a lelya on the way. It’ll give me something to do until I figure out if I need the bird.

I did and though as you did, except with a Cricket 177 Compact instead.
NOt as patient as you are to wait for a Lelya, that will be a nice shooter also !

Yes, that maybe so.
I’m just paranoid I think or just extra careful ?

I seem to notice that owners of aren’t posting info on their bird as much, just viewing postings on it.

Remains me of my FX Revo, owners are very quiet……..or very little guns out there for reason(s) not sure what ?

No intension in making anyone like PARANOID or CAREFUL, just saying………
