Quick Change Tophat Results

Got my TT Quick Change Tophat in the mail yesterday from Tony at TalonTunes.

Wish I’d have taken pics of the setup and such…but I was in a hurry to try it out.

The piece looks beautiful and installation was a breeze…. pop out the old tophat… push in the new…. fire off a couple shots to seat. Done.

I have my Condor set a little bit low at present and the PW was on 7-0.

Using the old top hat, I was getting around 1015fps using JSB Kings.

2 min later, with the new tophat and no restrictors, I was running at 1087 with the same pellet.

Putting in the larger restrictor saw me at around 890fps.

The smaller restrictor had me running at 765fps.

I didnt do a proper string and didnt see the need to. I kept the larger restrictor in and was blasting away at 45fpe and having a ball. The bird just would not miss with those pellets at that speed.

Next up is to throw some of Jerry’s slugs through it with no restrictor and wide ass open. Should be fun!
