Q:

Quick disconnect fittings,,, HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Do these things ware out???? or is it were,
I am always changing from Mutant probe to Cricket, Plugging in the large tank to fill small tank.
Plugging in to compressor, seems like the female side with the ball bearing is failing, or may be its the male side that fits it the female quick connect, No brass, just steel and SS,
Where is a source to get these replaced?
I have seen some brass and aluminum ones out there, but I think that low PSI paint ball stuff.
The flu has kicked my ass, Be careful people if you got lung problems like me. Lucky me I have a Dr, on call.

There are also different grades of quick disconnect. Get the ones with six or more balls as they are designed for higher pressure. I had one supplier that was marketing a 3000 psi connection as 4500 and they would fail after about a dozen fills. If the connection fits properly, then even the 70 durometer O-rings will work great!

Yes, I replaced O-rings in mines couple of times throughout a year.
Some female quick connect have double/two 010 size O-rings inside and I’ve used A70 and A90’s seem to last longer.

Originally comes loaded with A70

My friend give me some Cast Polyurethane 90 Duro O-Rings, but haven’t tried them yet.

If the female and or male quick connects looks worn or have metal shavings coming off, I’d replace them with new ones ASAP !
Theses have been working well for me for years …….

I have never had to replace any of mine, just passing this along.

the o-rings do wear out and need replacing.
