as a matter of fact, ive gone so far as to polish, port, and tune mine…did some good, believe it or not..

aside from the disc, the seal is shaped slightly different and the return spring is super light. didnt work for me. why does everybody wanna cannibalize their co2 adaptors? i find them quite handy… 😕

If you are asking can you put a CO2 valve on a HI-Flow Tank that has a 3000 # rated Burst Disk ?.

If you put a valve on a tank and pressure up the tank to the tank’s rating, but the tank’s pressure exceeds the rating of your valve, your valve has the potential to fracture / rupture / tear your face off / rip your eye out.

The Burst Disk is design for the the tank and valve assembly. Always rate a Burst Disk for the weakest component in the assembly.
