Q:

quick question…edgun stocks interchangeable?

Will a .22 edgun matador 2.5 standard stock fit a .22 standard R3(M) stock?

Technicslly they’re the same specs as far as length and weight from what I’ve seen…but basically wondering if i can buy a 2.5 stock for my gun and use it without having to inlet it or anything? Anyone ever test this?

I want a 2nd stock, one for woods walking and one for bench shooting that won’t get messed up. I know I know someone probably asked this before but im at work typing on my phone and its hard enough to load a website rather than use the search engine effectively lol

Any info would be appreciated…or even if someone has an old 2.5 stock they’d want to sell!

Thanks :4:

quote Wingman NZ:

The R2.5 stock has different inletting to the R3 and R3M.. the scope risers are different as is the trigger linkage inlet. Good luck with finding a second hand unwanted one anyway.. :fishinghole:

Ah ty. figured..and yeah…I’d sure be doing a lot of fishing if i wanted one anytime soon :fishing:

Should be exact same, from what I understand, they did not update the r3m 22 stock. Still the one mounting bolt design. Even if one was the 2 bolt design, you can still use it. Your just not going to be able to use the rear bolt on the r3 cause the trigger linkage thing doesn’t have the slotted area for it. Or if your putting a r3m gun in a r3 stock, you don’t have the hole in the stock for the bolt.
