quick question guys to owners of new rifles
Hi,quick one here to settle a little argument.
One new gunpowers or talons do you have one set of grub screws holding the bushings or two per bushing.

This is a question on a sales thread from a different forum which led into a longer thread than needed so as not to spoil that thread i posted the question on here to get some feed back of others from dedicated owners of this rifle.

So the next question does anyone know what year they start useing the double mounting method
Locating the screws top and bottom would only stabilize the bushings in the vertical plane..mounting 2 of screws on the side helps stabilize the bushings in the horizonal plane as well. Originally they only had screws on the bottom…obviously there was a need for horizontal stabilization, hence the 2 screws on l/h side were added.
I too wonder why folks go around and ask same question on more than one forum???? Since every make of airgun has a dedicated forum, I would think that asking the question on the appropriate forum would be all that is needed..Or am I missing something??? ( that has been known to happen 🙄 )
Im not disputing your set up, im simply interested in the mounting possition. I dont see why they would fit the second set to the side and not keep it in the top rails ike the bottom. Horus can you post your pic up here?
2 sets mate,thats 4 grub screws in total, i told you that on bbs, and sent you a pic?? just look at the gallery of pics on here mate as you obviousley dont believe me, lol.

on uk versions in 2000 they got lother walther barrels and a burst disc, and i think it was 2003 when they got side screws, about the same time as anti-tamper came out, ive got old version and new version, i wouldnt worry as you can always get 2 tapped in the side if it bothers you, i was going to put 2 through the top and 2 through the other side but have never got round to it, but even the one with only 2 screws has never caused any probs, i was only asking that bloke on bbs if his had four as im after my third stealth, going to convert next one into air archer, asked tagdagger to sell me a kit but he doesnt export 🙁 so going to have to find a machinist to turn me a suitable barrel.
