Q:

Quick question regard air force fill adapter

Just bought a Hill pump for out in the field emergency refills when the tanks are not available. Just thought of something I’ll have to order for it, and that’s a refill adapter. Anyone who may have a Hill pump, can you tell me if I need to order the 1/8″ or the 1/4″ male refill adapter ?

Thanks !!!!!

No problemo! Deff worth the extra few bucks!

Thanks guys… I kind of figured it would be the 1/8″, but went ahead and ordered the one with the 1/8th adapter just in case it’s 1/4″, I can just lose the adapter if need be and not have to send one back to exchange for the other….

If it is the original hose that came with the pump you will need the 1/8.

Don’t you just use the AF fill adapter? Mine came with both 1/8 and 1/4 fittings. I have the second one

this is just one place where you may get what you need.

call AOA (Airguns Of Arizona) at 480-461-1113 and talk to them.

they should be able to help you. i had a similar situation and they helped me.

Yeah, Joe is who I got a couple of my SCBA tanks from, good guy to deal with. In the pic that accompanied the ad on the yellow classifieds, it showed a partial shot of a hose, just did not show the end, just assuming it is a factory Hill pump hose and wandering if anybody had one they use if they could tell me which one, the 1/8th or 1/4″ male end adapter it would be that I needed to order. May just have to wait and let it get here to see what’s on the end and order at that time……

Do you have the hose? Or, planning a direct connect to the pump?
I didn’t care for the rubber hose as it swells a little taking an extra stroke or two. The direct connect could break off if dropped or otherwise abused. I use the direct connect now but plan on ordering a micro hose with additional adapters for SCUBA or SCBA when I find a convenient refill location. I think I got my 1/8 1/4 adapter from Pyrimyd Air but you may get more info if you call Joe Brancato but at least read his info at http://www.hamcontact.com/airgun/HoseAssembly/

Nobody ? Somebody ? Anybody ?
