R3.5.01 Edgun Specs Unofficially Released…

Ed’s new 2013 model will automatically load pellets to it’s new 70 shot, quad-stack, banana clip, by holding the gun directly over a container of pellets! (The container need not be open! No…I don’t know how it’s done.)

It’s semi-automatic, but will not chamber the next pellet, if you choose not to fire the gun again. This is done with a new “chip” in the rifle that wirelessly communicates with the trigger sensor. The main chip also notes what FPS/FPE you most likely require by a laser measurement from barrel tip to the sighted target, which itself is identified as to weight, mass, and most likely species.

You, personally, must be within one meter of the Edgun for the chip to automatically activate. When you receive the gun, you and hold it next to your wrist for 30 seconds, to register your individual body metabolic specifics to the integrated chip. After that, no one else can fire the gun unless it is “Re-Registered”. (instructions in owners manual)

Also, it automatically determines what weight the pellet is when it loads from the magazine. The probe senses the resistance of the pellet against the probe tip, and uses an algorithm that immediately determines grams of pellet weight, which it uses to determine the regulated air pressure needed for the specific FPS/FPE necessary for your identified target. (As explained in prior paragraph.)

It uses a solar powered chip that is guaranteed for the life of the gun.

None of this is magic, but done by the integrated chip, via reflected IR laser light, and a determination of your blood O2 content, blood pressure, heart rate, testosterone level, and blood serum adrenalin, all instantaneously measured when your finger touches the body function probe integrated into the trigger.

Should the gun be stolen, the owner can easily and instantly transmit this fact to the gun by calling a toll-free unique “900” number individually assigned to each Edgun. Once activated, the Edgun will not fire, load, hold air, or function in any manner. The “LoJac” system integrated into the stock will immediately notify local police of it’s exact location at all times. (LoJac system not solar powered…uses a Li-Po battery good for 20 years, user replaceable, comes with two spares.)

It is my opinion these are serious improvements to the current model R3.5.

I can’t swear to the exact accuracy of all the details I’ve mentioned, because my source is not official.

However, I can say with certainty that the 2013 Edgun is better than the 2013 Cricket…
