-The really big question is whether to buy a spanking new R3M or an upgrade kit for the R3 one already has…..
Based on my reading of a Google translation of a thread on the Edgun russian forum, it sounds like there will not be an upgrade kit, just a new version of the production model.
I hope that I misunderstood, but that’s what it looked like.
Well being that I just got my R3 in april I wony be investing in a new r3m…ill be fine with the upgrade multishot add on kit.,
Id like to see how that size difference looks on the gun being that the breech is wider.
That all depends on what you’re willing to pay in order to have multi-shot capability…200-300euros for sure, however this is all subjective to your needs.
Personally, my R3 is no lemon so I will definitely invest in its longevity as I will never be able to resell it anything close to the same value of purchase; the crickets made sure of that!
The price will be what Ed thinks it should be……… π
The really big question is whether to buy a spanking new R3M or an upgrade kit for the R3 one already has…..
And what kind of impact the release of R3M will have on the second hand prices of the singel shot R3s already out there………
Also it may be a good idea to wait a little (as if I can myself … π³ ) to see if modifications will be needed….
I know Ed has been working on this for quite a while and it should have been thoroughly tested. He left a “hint” on his private blog back in September last year, – but very few picked it up I guess:
When I asked him, – he confirmed but did not want to go public until it had been tested and tested again……….
Images have been lying around on the net for quite a while though, – but few people have noticed………… π
My guess is we’ll be seing something very soon, but I would wait for ED’s own presentation of his solution. There have been too many speculations already…. π
Ed has confirmed there will be kits as well (on the phone today !) ………. π
