Q:

R3m 25 standard valve stem protrusion?

Oki remember reading somewhere that the valve stem should protrude 3mm beyond the brass peice. However, I can’t seam to be ale to find whe that was written. Can someone confirm that this is correct? I’m looking at mine and its measuring 3.3mm with a pressurized cylinder. I don’t know if the spec changes when there isn’t air in the cylinder or not. I’ve never compaired the results.. Also, has anyone placed with shortening or lengthing (leaving a replacement valve longer than spec)?if so, what was the results. Thank you

Ed recommends 3.5mm. Both mine are that. I don’t think I’d worry if they were at 3.3mm as long as hammer looks to be inline
