R3M breech swap LEAK
I would love to contact the manufacture but I’ll feel more comfortable asking here. I was lucky enough to find a R3M to swap out for my R3 .22. After completing the swap I noticed a puff of air hit me in the eye after I shot. Hmmmm! So I thought the o ring might of slipped (pic below).
So I disassembled it and added a light lube so it can stick and the same problem persists. I’ve had a gentleman on the forums try and walk me through it but were both bummed out at this point 🙁

Be careful with those screws! If you strip them, you don’t have Donny’s dad to save you 😆
Donny, thanks for all your help. So since I didn’t have any o rings I decided to swap the o ring that sits between air tube and breech with the o ring that sits behind the brass ring. Worked like a charm, for right now. Much quieter and no puff! If anyone has Edgun part o rings, I’d be more than happy to purchase a few sets.

Mine didn’t come off too easily so I had to remove the barrel. But first remove the set screw under the brass unit. I had to use a vise to hold the breech part, then use a vise grip to loosen the barrel. Once the barrel is out, you can use the micro screw and allen key like I did to pop it out.
Ok so I see what you’re referring to, any clue on how to remove the brass piece?
I’m a newb so not sure exactly what I’m looking for? I should also mention that after sifting through your link I noticed my gun became louder as well.
So remove the brass piece seen in the pic and there should be an o ring behind it?

Check to see if there’s an o-ring inside that brass piece. I have a feeling it was shot out of the barrel.
